Pitch Planner
Editorial policy

How Pitch Planner reviews coaching content.

Pitch Planner publishes product guides, help articles, and youth soccer resources for coaches who need practical match-day decisions. This policy explains how we decide what belongs on the site and how we keep it useful.

Publisher

Pitch Planner is a brand owned by WhiteBoston LLC.

Pitch Planner is the app and public site brand. WhiteBoston LLC is the legal business responsible for the website, app, and published materials. The product is built by soccer coaches for soccer coaches, with regular exposure to youth soccer parents, team managers, and club-admin workflows.

Content purpose

Field-ready guidance, not abstract theory.

We publish content that helps coaches set lineups, manage substitutions, track equal playing time, handle parent communication, run team workflows, and understand tournament logistics. We prefer clear steps, examples, constraints, and practical tradeoffs over generic coaching language.

Review process

Every public guide is reviewed before publication.

Pitch Planner reviews published content for accuracy, clarity, product fit, and usefulness to youth soccer coaches. Product documentation is checked against the current app behavior. Coaching articles are checked for plain-language usefulness and whether they reflect the realities of volunteer and part-time coaching.

When a topic depends on rules, safety guidance, governing-body updates, or another outside organization, we link to source material where possible and avoid presenting speculation as fact.

Corrections

We want mistakes fixed quickly.

If a page is unclear, outdated, or incorrect, contact us at [email protected]. We review correction requests and update pages when a change improves accuracy, clarity, or coach usefulness.

Limits

Pitch Planner content is informational.

Our content is not legal, medical, tax, financial, or professional coaching advice. Coaches, clubs, and tournament organizers should follow their league rules, club policies, safety requirements, and qualified professional guidance for their specific situation.
